Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-02

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

As a consumer you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reason (Widerrufsrecht).

How it applies to personalized digital gifts

Our gifts are personalized digital content that is delivered immediately. Under § 356(5) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal lapses for such content only where you have expressly consented to us beginning delivery before the withdrawal period ends, and you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

We capture this through a mandatory checkbox at checkout, which you must tick before your gift is delivered. Its wording is: «I consent to immediate delivery of my personalized digital gift and acknowledge that I thereby lose my 14-day right of withdrawal.»

By ticking this box you give the consent and acknowledgement required by § 356(5) BGB, and the 14-day right of withdrawal lapses upon delivery. If you do not give this consent, your gift cannot be delivered immediately.

Refunds for defective or undelivered gifts

Your withdrawal rights do not affect your statutory warranty rights. We will refund you if a gift fails to deliver because of a technical fault on our side, if it is defective, or if you were charged in error.

Refunds do not apply to a change of mind after delivery, to the recipient being unavailable, or to content you chose to include.

How to request a refund

Contact us using the details in the Imprint, with your order reference and a description of the issue. We aim to review every request promptly and fairly, and any approved refund is returned to your original payment method.
