About these terms
These terms govern your use of Taj Gift, operated by a Germany-based sole proprietor (see the Imprint). By placing an order you agree to them. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service.
What you are buying
Gifts are personalized digital products, created to your specification and delivered electronically. They have no physical form. Each gift is made available as a unique link, a QR code, and a downloadable offline HTML file that opens the reveal without an internet connection.
Delivery
Delivery is immediate and digital: as soon as your order is complete, the gift is generated and made accessible through the link, QR code and offline file. There is no physical shipment.
Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you upload to personalize a gift — text, images and audio — and you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to it and that it is lawful. You may not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, impersonate others, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
We may remove content or suspend access where these terms are breached.
Licence to the delivered gift
The Taj Gift name, design and platform remain our property. You retain ownership of the content you upload, and you grant us a limited licence to host, process and deliver it solely to provide the gifting service. On delivery you receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use and share the finished gift for your own private, non-commercial purposes.
Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). Depending on your location, applicable taxes or currency-conversion fees may be added by us or by your payment provider or bank.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an as-is basis to the extent permitted by law; this does not limit any mandatory statutory rights or our liability for damages that cannot be excluded under German law. We may update these terms, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence.
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
